Grants to Address School Mental Health Shortages
The Department of Education proposes new priorities, requirements, and definitions for the Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program (Assistance Listing Number 84.184X). These proposed rules may be used for grant competitions in fiscal year (FY) 2025 and later and are designed to better target activities that address shortages of school-based mental health service providers, specifically school psychologists, in high-need local educational agencies (LEAs).
