The Coast Guard will set a temporary special local regulation around Assateague, Chincoteague, and Wallops Islands on Virginia's Eastern Shore during the week of the 100th Annual Pony Roundup, Swim & Auction. If you are not a participant, you are intermittently prohibited from entering, transiting through, anchoring in, or remaining in those waters unless you get permission from the Captain of the Port or a designated representative.
