Drivers Allowed Extra Hours for Unplanned Events
If you are a driver employed by R.J. Corman Railroad Services or Cranemasters, Inc., FMCSA renewed an exemption that lets you operate a property-carrying commercial motor vehicle beyond the 14th hour after coming on duty and beyond 60 hours in 7 consecutive days or 70 hours in 8 consecutive days when responding to unplanned events that occur outside or extend beyond your normal work hours.
