Electric rate filings may change bills

You could see changes to your electricity bill because the Commission received rate, tariff, and interconnection filings with proposed effective dates including February 23, 2024; February 29, 2024; June 1, 2025; July 1, 2025; July 17, 2025; July 23, 2025; September 23, 2025; September 24, 2025; and September 27, 2025. These filings (from companies such as Viridon, Duke Energy, Cheyenne Light, Black Hills Power, and Southwest Power Pool) may alter rates or agreements that affect how much customers pay for electricity.

Deadlines to comment or intervene

If you want to protest, comment, or intervene in any listed filing you must file by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the docket's specified comment date — for example, July 30, 2025; August 15, 2025; or August 18, 2025.
