Analyzed Economic Effects
3 provisions identified: 2 benefits, 1 costs, 0 mixed.
10 Gb Port Monthly Fee Hike
If you (or your firm) rent a 10 Gb physical port to connect to Cboe EDGA, the monthly fee increases from $7,500 to $8,500 per port. The Exchange filed the change on July 17, 2025 and it became effective upon filing, so users of 10 Gb ports will pay the higher $8,500 monthly fee going forward.
One Port Fee Covers Affiliate Access
A single monthly fee applies per 10 Gb physical port regardless of how many Cboe affiliate exchanges (Cboe BZX, BYX, EDGX, and C2) you access through that one port. The filing states only one monthly fee will apply per 10 Gb port even if you use that port to access multiple affiliate exchanges.
1 Gb Port Fee Remains $2,500
The Exchange is not changing the monthly fee for 1 Gb physical ports; each 1 Gb port remains $2,500 per month as stated in the filing. Firms that use only 1 Gb ports will continue to pay $2,500 per month.
