Boeing 767 pilot seat inspections stay required
If you operate or maintain Boeing Model 767-200, -300, -300F, or -400ER airplanes, you must continue the actions from AD 2025-01-06: identify the Captain's and First Officer's seat part numbers (and serial numbers if applicable) and perform the one-time detailed inspection and repetitive checks of the seats' horizontal movement system (HMS), along with any on-condition actions.
Clarification reduces unnecessary work
This AD corrects an error in AD 2025-01-06 about taking credit for a previous revision of the service information and revises paragraph (j) to clarify which actions are not required, so operators and maintainers will not have to perform actions that are explicitly not required.
