Reinstatement of Colorado Oil & Gas Leases

The Bureau of Land Management proposes to reinstate three terminated competitive oil and gas leases held by Longs Peak Resources, LLC; Las Animas Leasing, Inc.; and Bison IV Properties Colorado, LLC, located in Las Animas and Weld Counties, Colorado. The lessees paid required rentals, the BLM had not issued new leases for these lands before the petitions, and the leases are said to conform with the Eastern Resource Management Plan signed January 9, 2024, so drilling and energy work can continue without delay.
