Assets of Listed Persons Are Frozen
OFAC added one or more people to the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List, and all property and interests in property of those listed persons that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction are blocked. That means money or property in the U.S. tied to those listed people cannot be accessed or moved, effective immediately.
U.S. Persons Prohibited From Dealing With SDNs
The notice says U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with the newly listed individuals on the SDN List. You and U.S. businesses must avoid doing business with those listed people starting immediately.
