Must File to Claim 2022 Royalties

If you want a share of the 2022 cable or satellite royalty funds, you must file a Petition to Participate and pay a $150 filing fee by the deadline set in this notice. This applies to anyone seeking a portion of the 2022 cable royalties and anyone seeking a portion of the 2022 satellite royalties.

Miss Deadline and Lose Participation Rights

Any party that fails to file a Petition to Participate by the time set in this notice will not be a participant at any stage of the 2022 cable or satellite royalty proceedings. A late petition may only be accepted if the Judges allow it under 37 CFR 351.1(d).

Separate Petition Rules for Cable vs. Satellite

For the cable royalty proceeding you may submit a single Petition to Participate that covers either or both the allocation phase and the distribution phase. For the satellite royalty proceeding you must file a separate Petition to Participate that can cover either or both the allocation and distribution phases for satellite royalties.
