The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reviewed the Northern California-Southern Oregon fisher population and decided it doesn’t need to be listed as endangered or threatened right now. This means no new protections or big changes are coming, but they’re still open to hearing new info anytime. So, fishers can keep roaming their forests without extra rules for now!
