Ten-Year Export Ban for Named Individual
Francisco Dario Mora was convicted on May 10, 2021, and is denied all export privileges for ten years, through May 10, 2031. He is barred from applying for or using any export license or participating in transactions involving items subject to the Export Administration Regulations, and any BIS-issued licenses in which he had an interest at the time of conviction are revoked.
Third Parties Barred From Dealing With Denied Person
No person may export, reexport, or transfer items subject to the Regulations to or on behalf of Francisco Dario Mora, or take actions that facilitate his acquisition or control of regulated items. Companies and individuals are also prohibited from servicing items owned or controlled by Mora if that servicing involves items subject to the Regulations.
Affiliates May Be Blocked To Prevent Evasion
Any person, firm, corporation, or business organization related to Mora by ownership, control, position, affiliation, or other connection in trade or business may also be made subject to this Order to prevent evasion. That means related entities can be denied the same export privileges if used to work around the ban.
