Land-use Changes in Western States
The Bureau of Land Management is asking for public comments on significant changes to the Proposed Resource Management Plan Amendment (RMPA) for Greater Sage‑Grouse released in November 2024. The BLM says these changes could affect land use in Idaho, Montana, the Dakotas (North and South Dakota), Nevada, California, Utah, and Wyoming, and after considering comments will issue Records of Decision for Approved RMPAs for Idaho, Montana/Dakotas, Nevada/California, Utah, and Wyoming.
