Listed Persons’ U.S. Property Is Blocked
The Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) placed one or more people on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List). All property and interests in property of those listed persons that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction are blocked, effective immediately.
U.S. Persons Barred From Transactions With SDNs
OFAC states that U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with the persons added to the SDN List. That prohibition is in effect immediately, so U.S. persons should not do business with those listed individuals or entities.
