Lower Pistachio Assessment Fee
If you grow pistachios in California, Arizona, or New Mexico, the assessment fee you pay drops from $0.0007 to $0.0003 per pound of assessable pistachios handled starting in the 2024-2025 production year and continuing in subsequent production years. The lower rate stays in effect indefinitely unless it is later modified, suspended, or terminated under the marketing order.
