Countervailing Duties on Molded Fiber Imports
The U.S. Department of Commerce found that producers and exporters of thermoformed molded fiber products from the People’s Republic of China received countervailable subsidies. As a result, extra taxes called countervailing duties will be added to imports of those molded fiber products starting now. The period of investigation covers January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.
