25‑Mile Travel Approval Requirement

General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and accompanying members of the Sudanese delegation must get approval from the Department of State's Office of Foreign Missions before traveling any distance beyond a 25‑mile radius from Columbus Circle in New York City. This rule applies while they are in the United States for the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 80) during the High‑Level Week in September 2025 and remains in place for the duration of that visit.

Obligation to Follow Additional Travel Limits

The Sudanese delegation must also comply with any other geographical limitations or related requirements the Director or Deputy Director of the Office of Foreign Missions may establish for travel within the United States. These additional requirements apply during the delegation's time in the United States for UNGA 80 in September 2025 and may impose further travel approvals or limits.
