Muskingum River Area Redesignation
If you live or work in Center Township (Morgan County) or Waterford Township (Washington County), Ohio, EPA is proposing to redesignate the Muskingum River area to attainment for the 2010 sulfur dioxide (SO2) National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS). This is a proposal action by EPA based on Ohio's submission made March 31, 2025.
Approval of Ohio Maintenance Plan and DFFOs
EPA is also proposing to approve Ohio's maintenance plan for the Muskingum River area and Ohio's Director's Final Findings and Orders (DFFOs) that were issued on March 26, 2025. Ohio formally submitted its request for approval on March 31, 2025.
