Ural Airlines Barred From US Export Deals
Effective October 3, 2025, Ural Airlines is barred for one year (through October 3, 2026) from participating in any transaction involving any commodity, software, or technology exported from the United States that is subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The Order also forbids any person or company from exporting, reexporting, transferring, financing, servicing, or otherwise facilitating such EAR‑controlled items to or for Ural, except activities directly related to "safety of flight" that are authorized by the Bureau of Industry and Security under Section 764.3(a)(2).
