Penny/Nickel Steps for Mini-Bitcoin Options

If you trade Cboe Mini Bitcoin U.S. ETF (MBTX) options, the Exchange proposes the minimum price change (tick) to be $0.01 for option series trading below $3.00 and $0.05 for series trading at $3.00 or higher. The Exchange says the finer increments should increase the number of price points, help narrow bid-ask spreads, and improve liquidity for retail and other investors.
