Published Date: 11/12/2025
Notice
Summary
The U.S. is hitting pause on trade penalties against China’s maritime, logistics, and shipbuilding sectors for one whole year starting November 10, 2025, thanks to a big trade deal between Presidents Trump and Xi. This means businesses involved in these areas get a break from extra tariffs until November 9, 2026. It’s a win for companies and consumers who rely on these industries, giving them some breathing room and saving money.
