Mandatory 50‑Hour Inspections and Replacements
If you own a Textron Aviation Model 182Q or 182R airplane equipped under Supplemental Type Certificate SA03302AT with an affected intercooler hose, you must visually inspect the intercooler inlet and outlet hoses before further flight after December 2, 2025 and then at intervals not to exceed 50 flight hours. If any crack is found you must replace the hose, and any affected part must be replaced within 500 flight hours since first installation (or before further flight, whichever is later).
Parts Installation Ban and Serviceable Rule
As of December 2, 2025, you may not install an intercooler inlet or outlet hose that is not a "serviceable part." A "serviceable part" is either a non-affected intercooler hose or an affected part that is new or has accumulated less than 500 flight hours and that passed an inspection within 7 days before installation.
