Quinoxyfen Use on Pome and Stone Fruit
EPA received an application (EPA Reg. No. 33906-26) to register the active ingredient quinoxyfen as a fungicide for use on pome fruit (Group 11-10) and stone fruit (Group 12-12). The application was received September 30, 2024, and EPA is accepting public comments through December 18, 2025.
Fluxapyroxad Proposed Use on Pennycress
EPA received applications (EPA Reg. Nos. 7969-312, 7969-309; Docket EPA-HQ-OPP-2025-1415) from BASF to register fluxapyroxad as a fungicide for use on pennycress. The application was received February 7, 2025, and public comments are due by December 18, 2025.
Zinc Chloride for Non‑Food Contact Plastics
EPA received an application (File Symbol 98718-R; Docket EPA-HQ-OPP-2025-1014) from IonGarde Technologies for zinc chloride as an antimicrobial material preservative to be incorporated into non-food contact plastics, plastic composite materials, fibers, yarns, coatings, adhesives, and sealants. The application was received December 2, 2022, and comments are due by December 18, 2025.
Prosulfuron for Fallow and Non‑Crop Lands
EPA received an application (EPA Reg. No. 10163-380; Docket EPA-HQ-OPP-2025-0755) from Gowan Company LLC to register prosulfuron as a herbicide for use on fallow ground and non-crop lands. The application was received October 25, 2024, and EPA will accept comments until December 18, 2025.
Flutianil Uses for Vegetables, Hops, Lettuce, Peach
EPA received applications (EPA Reg. Nos. 11581-5, 11581-6; Docket EPA-HQ-OPP-2025-0184) from OAT Agrio Co., Ltd. to register flutianil as a fungicide with proposed uses on Brassica leafy greens (Subgroup 4-16B), fruiting vegetables (Group 8-10), hop (dried cones), lettuce (head and leaf), and peach (Subgroup 12-12B). The application was received December 6, 2024, and public comments must be received by December 18, 2025.
