Project capacity increased 13,000 Dth/d

Rockies Express amended the Decatur Lateral Project to raise capacity from 181,000 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) to 194,400 Dth/d, an increase of approximately 13,000 Dth/d. The notice states that the new 13,000 Dth/d is fully subscribed by a Project shipper.

Environmental review timing and 90-day rule

The Commission staff will, within 90 days of this Notice, either complete its environmental review and place it in the public record or issue a Notice of Schedule for Environmental Review. If a Notice of Schedule is issued, federal and state agencies will be notified of timing and must complete all necessary federal authorizations within 90 days of issuance of the Commission staff's final environmental impact statement (FEIS) or environmental assessment (EA).

Project footprint grows by 2.2 acres

The amendment proposes three scope modifications and one land-ownership change that increase the overall Project footprint by approximately 2.2 acres. The notice also states there are no changes to the proposed facilities.

Public intervention deadline set

Anyone may file comments, protests, or a motion to intervene in the proceeding, and there is no fee to do so. The deadline to file a motion to intervene is 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on December 4, 2025.
