One unified reporting tool for grantees

SAMHSA will replace older indicators with a new SAMHSA Unified Performance Reporting Tool (SUPRT‑P) that collects grant‑level aggregate data from CMHS, CSAT, and 988 grantees on target goals, actual performance, and client demographics. The SUPRT‑P combines mental health, substance use treatment, and 988 indicators into a single streamlined tool to meet Government Performance Results Act Modernization Act (GPRMA) reporting needs.

Less frequent and narrower data collection burden

Grantees will self‑administer SUPRT‑P and provide information quarterly and annually, but they will not be required to collect data for the full tool. SAMHSA will issue guidance that specifies which indicators each grantee must collect and report.

Data will feed annual GPRMA reporting and monitoring

SAMHSA will use the data collected through SUPRT‑P for annual reporting required by the Government Performance Results Act Modernization Act (GPRMA) of 2010, for grantee monitoring, and to support continuous improvement of discretionary grant programs.
