Agents/Brokers Must Register and Train for FFE
If you are an insurance agent or broker who wants to enroll people through the Federally-facilitated Exchange (FFE), you must register with the FFE, complete an annual training course, and sign participation agreements. CMS is reinstating this information collection as Form CMS-10464 (OMB control number 0938-1204) with 100,000 respondents, 100,000 annual responses, and a total annual burden of 12,000 hours; comments are due by December 22, 2025. This FFE requirement is specific to Federally-facilitated Exchanges and does not automatically apply to State-based Exchanges (SBEs).
