License Amendments Can Be Issued Immediately
The NRC can issue amendments to operating or combined licenses and make them immediately effective if it determines the change involves no significant hazards consideration (NSHC). The Commission normally waits 60 days after publication but may issue an amendment sooner (for example if delay would cause derating or shutdown); if it issues under an NSHC finding, any hearing will occur after issuance.
Public Comment and Hearing Deadlines Set

The notice covers proposed and issued amendments from September 12, 2025 through October 9, 2025.
