Hybrid Tribal Meeting Open to Public

The USDA Tribal Advisory Committee will meet in person at Virgin Hotels, 4455 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV, and online on December 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to about 5:00 p.m. PT. Tribal members, organizations, and the public may join in person or via the webinar/call-in option and may listen to deliberations and participate as described in the notice.

Written Public Comment Deadline

You may submit written comments for the Tribal Advisory Committee by Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET via the specified USDA email; submitted comments will be included in the public record and compiled for the meeting.

Oral Comment Rules and Registration

Members of the public can give oral comments on December 8, 2025, between 2:00 and 3:30 p.m. PT; speakers must arrive by 2:00 p.m. PT and will be given no more than five (5) minutes each. Virtual registrants must provide name, title/position, Tribe or organization, whether they intend to provide public comment, and accommodation needs when registering.

Call-In Charges Not Refunded

If you call into the Zoom teleconference or participate by wireless phone, you may incur charges for calls you initiate over wireless lines, and the USDA will not refund any incurred charges.

Accessibility and Alternative Formats Provided

Persons with disabilities can request alternative means of communication (e.g., Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language) by contacting the State or local agency that administers the program or USDA via the Telecommunications Relay Service at 711; a FIRS TDD number is also provided for assistance.

Meeting Materials and Comment Consolidation

The full meeting agenda will be posted at least 48 hours in advance on the USDA Tribal Advisory Committee web page; all written public comments will be compiled into a binder available at the meeting and duplicate comments will appear once with a note that multiple copies were received.
