TPS for Haiti Ends Feb 3, 2026
The Secretary of Homeland Security is terminating Haiti's Temporary Protected Status (TPS) effective February 3, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. After that date, Haitian nationals (and stateless persons who last habitually resided in Haiti) who were granted TPS will no longer have TPS.
Return to Prior Immigration Status Rules
When Haiti's TPS designation ends, beneficiaries return to the immigration status or category they maintained before TPS (if any), or to any other lawfully obtained immigration status they received while registered for TPS, as long as that status is still valid on the date TPS terminates.
No Judicial Review of TPS Designation Decision
The statute provides that there is no judicial review of any determination by the Secretary regarding the designation, termination, or extension of a country's TPS. That legal bar applies to the Secretary's termination decision for Haiti.

Certain TPS EADs Valid Through Feb 3, 2026
DHS automatically extends the validity of certain Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) issued under Haiti's TPS through February 3, 2026. As proof of employment authorization through that date, beneficiaries may show EADs with category A-12 or C-19 and a "Card Expires" date of February 3, 2026; August 3, 2025; August 3, 2024; June 30, 2024; February 3, 2023; December 31, 2022; October 4, 2021; January 4, 2021; January 2, 2020; July 22, 2019; January 22, 2018; or July 22, 2017.
