Kosciusko upgrade meets emissions, keeps capacity same

Texas Eastern will remove fourteen existing natural gas-fired reciprocating compressor units (totaling 35,000 hp NEMA) and install three natural gas-fired turbine-driven units (totaling 42,720 hp ISO) at the Kosciusko Compressor Station in Attala County, Mississippi. The company says the Project will ensure continued safe and reliable operation, meet all currently applicable air emissions requirements, and does not change the system's design capacity.
