Public Access to 13,100 Health Resources
You can access the NPIN Resources and Services Database that contains entries on approximately 13,100 organizations offering HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, STD, and TB services. The database records more than 616,557 unique visitors and more than 1,045,160 page views annually, and the CDC invites public comment by February 3, 2026.
Time Burden on Health Service Respondents
CDC estimates an annual respondent burden of 1,449 hours to update and verify the NPIN database, including 1,200 initial questionnaires (7 minutes each), 11,135 telephone verifications (6 minutes each), and 1,965 email verifications (6 minutes each). There are no costs to respondents other than their time to participate.
Opportunity to Add Organizations Each Year
NPIN plans to add up to 1,200 newly identified organizations each year and will verify existing entries; organizations are given the option to complete and submit an electronic questionnaire via the NPIN website. This update is designed to keep listings current and available to the public.
