San Juan Harbor: Two-Hour Closure
On December 13, 2025, from 6 p.m. through 8 p.m., the Coast Guard will close the regulated area of San Juan Harbor for the Christmas Boat Parade. During that time, no person or vessel may enter, transit through, anchor in, or remain within the regulated area unless authorized by the Coast Guard Patrol Commander or a designated representative.
Rules for Spectator Vessels
Spectator vessels may safely transit outside the regulated area during the event on December 13, 2025, but they may not anchor, block, loiter, impede parade participants or official patrol vessels, or enter the regulated area without Coast Guard approval. If you plan to watch from a boat, you must stay outside the regulated area and follow direction from the Coast Guard or designated representatives between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
