Free public meeting and livestream

Public comment time limits and deadlines
The meeting allocates 15 minutes for public comment and oral commenters will be given a minimum of two minutes each. Written comments received at least two working days before the meeting will be provided to Board members and included in the meeting minutes; written comments received within two working days after the meeting will be included in the minutes.

Board advises on cleanup and stewardship
The Board provides advice and recommendations on cleanup activities and environmental restoration; waste and nuclear materials management and disposition; excess facilities; future land use; and long‑term stewardship. The Board also provides an avenue to fulfill public participation requirements under NEPA, CERCLA, RCRA, Federal Facility Agreements, Consent Orders, Consent Decrees, and Settlement Agreements.
