ITC Section 337 Probe Targets PVDF Resin Imports

The U.S. International Trade Commission is continuing an investigation that alleges certain imports and sales of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resins infringe U.S. Patent No. 8,337,725 (claims 1-7, 10, and 12). The investigation was instituted on February 21, 2025, names several Chinese manufacturers as respondents (for example, Zhejiang Juhua Co., Zhejiang Fluorine Chemical New Material Co., Hubei Fluorine New Materials, and Sinochem Lantian), and covers importation, sale for importation, or sale within the United States after importation of the covered resins.

One Respondent Removed After Settlement

On April 21, 2025, the Commission terminated the investigation as to Inner Mongolia 3F Wanhao Fluorochemical Industry Co. Ltd. (3F) based on a settlement. The Office of Unfair Import Investigations is not participating in this investigation.
