Named Individual Banned From Exporting
Marco Santillan, Jr. is denied export privileges under the Export Administration Regulations for a period of 10 years and may not participate in export transactions from the date of this Order until August 1, 2032. The Order bars him from applying for, obtaining, or using any license, license exception, or export control document and from negotiating, buying, selling, financing, or otherwise servicing items subject to the Regulations.
Revocation Of Existing BIS Licenses
Any Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) licenses or authorizations in which Marco Santillan, Jr. had an interest at the time of his conviction are revoked. Those revoked authorizations cannot be used by him from the date of this Order through August 1, 2032.
Third Parties Prohibited From Dealing
No person may export, reexport, transfer, sell, finance, or otherwise facilitate transactions involving items subject to the Regulations to or for the benefit of the Denied Person while the Order remains in effect. The Order also bars servicing, acquiring from, or facilitating acquisition by the Denied Person of items subject to the Regulations until August 1, 2032.
Affiliates Could Also Be Blocked
Any person, firm, corporation, or business organization related to Marco Santillan, Jr. by ownership, control, position, affiliation, or other connection in trade may also be made subject to this Order to prevent evasion. The Order permits BIS to extend its provisions to related entities to stop attempts to avoid the ban.
