The U.S. Department of Commerce fixed a mistake from 2021 by adding three Canadian lumber companies they accidentally left out of an important trade review. This correction makes sure the right companies are included in the 2019 antidumping duty results, which could affect how duties are applied and money is handled. Company Names Added to AD Review
The Department of Commerce corrected its December 2, 2021 notice for the 2019 antidumping duty administrative review of certain softwood lumber from Canada by adding three company names (Olympic Industries Inc-Reman Codes; Olympic Industries ULC-Reman; Olympic Industries ULC-Reman Code) and correcting several other company names (including Abitibi-LP Engineered Wood II Inc.; Abitibi-LP Engineered Wood Inc.; Forest Products Mauricie LP; Produits Forestiers Petit-Paris Inc.; Societe en commandite Scierie Opitciwan; Resolute Growth Canada Inc.; and Sundher Timber Products Inc.). The correction was issued December 15, 2025 and published in the Federal Register on December 22, 2025. This change makes sure the listed companies are included correctly in the 2019 AD final results and may affect how antidumping duties are applied and how liquidation instructions are carried out.
