Uniform FNS Grant Application Package

The Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) proposes a uniform grant application package for non-entitlement discretionary grants (OMB Control Number 0584-0512). If FNS chooses to use it, applicants must use the uniform package and it will include the SF-424 series, SF-LLL, SF-906, SF-425, and FNS-908 forms; use is optional for FNS programs (all discretionary programs are eligible but not required). Comments on this collection are due January 29, 2026.

Estimated Applicant Burden and Respondent Counts

The submission estimates 405,231 respondents and a total burden of 1,058,432 hours for the information collection; responses occur annually, one time, quarterly, or on occasion. These estimates apply to State, local, or tribal governments, for-profit businesses, and not-for-profit institutions that respond to FNS discretionary grant solicitations.
