500‑Foot Safety Zone Blocks Boat Access

If you plan to be on the water near the Carnival Cruise Terminal in Long Beach, you may not enter the safety zone within a 500‑foot radius of the fireworks launch from midnight until 12:45 a.m. on January 1, 2026 unless the Captain of the Port or their designated representative gives permission. To request permission, contact the Captain of the Port on VHF‑FM channel 16 or by phone at (310) 521‑3801.
