Nemko Expansion Adds Three Test Standards
OSHA received Nemko North America, Inc.'s application to expand its Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) recognition to include UL 1310 (Class 2 Power Units), UL 1778 (Uninterruptible Power Supply Equipment), and UL 60730-1 (Automatic Electrical Controls—Part 1). If approved, Nemko would be able to test and certify products under those three standards, and employers could use Nemko-approved products to meet OSHA standards. Comments on this application must be submitted on or before January 15, 2026.
