Three‑Year Extension of Housing Associates Data Collection
If you are a nonmember mortgagee applying to be certified as a Housing Associate or an existing Housing Associate, FHFA plans to extend the information collection (OMB control number 2590-0001) for three years. The control number expires on January 31, 2026; FHFA estimates the annual burden at 314 hours total (14 hours for applicants and 300 hours for current Housing Associates), and is accepting public comments through January 30, 2026.
