Who Can Request Repatriation

Any lineal descendant, Indian Tribe, or Native Hawaiian organization not identified in the notice may submit a written request for repatriation by showing, by a preponderance of the evidence, that they are a lineal descendant or culturally affiliated. Requests must be sent to Rachel M. Miller at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History (165 Forest Avenue, Pacific Grove, CA 93950) or the listed email, and the museum must resolve competing requests before repatriation.
