Call for FRRCC Nominations — Deadline
The EPA is accepting nominations for the Farm, Ranch, and Rural Communities Advisory Committee (FRRCC) for the 2025–2027 term. To be considered, nominations (including self-nominations) must be submitted by March 2, 2026, via email with the subject line "FRRCC Membership 2025-2027."
Volunteer Service Terms and Reimbursements
FRRCC members serve voluntarily (no compensation or honorarium) and can expect about five hours of work per month. Members may receive travel and per diem allowances under Federal travel rules and the agency's budget, and the full committee expects to meet up to two times per calendar year (in Washington, DC, EPA Regions, and/or virtually).
Eligibility Preference for Active Farmers and Representatives
EPA intends that the majority of FRRCC members be actively engaged in farming or ranching, and members are generally appointed as "Representative" members expected to represent the views of a particular group. The committee will be balanced across sectors (e.g., academia, agricultural industry, NGOs, and state/local/tribal governments).
