Alaska subsistence users invited to comment
If you rely on subsistence resources in Alaska, you can have your say during a 60-day public review that began December 15, 2025. The National Park Service scheduled special Subsistence Resource Commission meetings on January 29 and 30, 2026 and February 3, 7, and 17, 2026 so the commissions can comment on the Federal Subsistence Management Program and how it meets subsistence users’ needs.
Public testimony and recorded meetings
SRC meetings are open to the public and include time for written and oral comments so you can present views directly to the commission. Meetings will be recorded and meeting minutes will be made available within 90 days after each meeting ends.
