Form required to claim BAH for out‑of‑wedlock child
If you are a Marine claiming a child born out of wedlock under age 21 who does not live in your household, the USMC will continue using NAVMC Form 1750/13 (OMB Control Number 0712-0010) to document financial support and other facts. This form is required to obtain or retain Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) and is mandated by DoD Financial Management Regulation 7000.14-R, Vol. 7A, Ch. 26 and Marine Corps Order 1751.3.
Guardian must complete and notarize form
The child's non-service-member guardian must complete their section of NAVMC Form 1750/13 and have it notarized before submission. The collection reports an average burden of 75 minutes per response, with 20 annual responses and 25 annual burden hours.
