Summary
Starting March 8, 2026, some services will be added to the government’s special shopping list, meaning nonprofit groups that help people who are blind or severely disabled will get new contracts. New Document Destruction Contract
Starting March 8, 2026, the Procurement List adds a Document Destruction service for the US Air Force Oklahoma City–Air Logistics Complex (Tinker AFB, OK). The Meadows Center for Opportunity (Edmond, OK) is the designated source; the Committee made the addition effective February 25, 2026 to ensure a March 1, 2026 start date.
VA Memphis Service Added to List
Starting March 8, 2026, a service for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Memphis VA Medical Center and Outpatient Clinics (Memphis, TN) is added to the Procurement List. Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center, Inc. (Dothan, AL) is the designated source of supply for that mandatory purchase.
Many Products Removed From Procurement List
On March 8, 2026, the Committee deleted numerous products from the Procurement List, including Splitting Mauls (NSNs 5120-01-598-5652 and -5656), a Talking Calculator (NSN 7420-01-617-1743), and various promotional items and dental kits. Those items are no longer mandatory government purchases from the listed nonprofit suppliers.
No New Small-Entity Paperwork Burden
The Committee certified that this action will not result in additional reporting, recordkeeping, or other compliance requirements for small entities and that it may authorize small entities to furnish the added services or products. That certification appears in the notice dated March 8, 2026.
