Published Date: 2/6/2026

Notice

Summary

The U.S. is keeping extra taxes on steel staples from China because stopping them could hurt American businesses. These rules started in 2020 and will continue from January 30, 2026, to stop unfair pricing and unfair government help. If you import or sell these staples, expect the same duties to stay in place for now.
