The Tennessee Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is holding three virtual meetings between February and April 2026 to brainstorm their first project. Anyone interested can join online or by phone to listen and share their thoughts. These meetings won’t cost you a dime, but phone charges might apply if you call in!

Free virtual public meetings (phone may cost)

You can join the Tennessee Advisory Committee meetings online for free on Feb 17, 2026; Mar 23, 2026; and Apr 13, 2026 from 3:00–4:00 p.m. CT. If you call in by phone you may incur regular wireless charges using 1-833-435-1820; the Commission will not refund those charges.

Accessibility: closed captioning and accommodations

You may speak or submit written comments

Members of the public may make statements during an open comment period at the end of each meeting and may submit written comments by email to Brooke Peery (DFO) within 30 days after the meeting. Written comments must be received in the Regional Programs Unit within 30 days following each meeting.

Records from these meetings will be available before and after the meetings via the Regional Programs Coordination Unit and on www.facadatabase.gov under the Commission on Civil Rights, Tennessee Advisory Committee link.
