Nemko Can Certify Three More Product Types
If you make or use electrical products covered by UL 1310 (Class 2 Power Units), UL 1778 (Uninterruptible Power Supply Equipment), or UL 60730-1 (Automatic Electrical Controls—Part 1), Nemko North America can now test and certify those products to meet OSHA-required third-party testing and certification starting February 18, 2026. OSHA recognition means employers may use products approved by Nemko to meet OSHA standards that require such testing.
Recognition Limited to OSHA-Required Products
OSHA's recognition of Nemko for the listed test standards is limited to equipment or materials for which OSHA standards require third-party testing and certification. If a test standard also covers products for which OSHA does not require such testing, those products are not included in Nemko's scope of recognition.
