Sherrie R. McCain is banned for 5 years from importing or offering for import any drug into the United States, effective February 19, 2026. The debarment follows her October 24, 2024 felony conviction for introduction into interstate commerce of a misbranded drug, and she may apply at any time for termination of debarment under section 306(d)(1) (applications accepted via https://www.regulations.gov or by mail to Docket No. FDA-2025-N-0309).

As of February 19, 2026, importing or offering for import any drug by, with the assistance of, or at the direction of Sherrie R. McCain is a prohibited act under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 331(cc)). Anyone who imports drugs in concert with or at the direction of Ms. McCain would be engaging in a prohibited act under the cited statute.
