UTIC Members Keep Antitrust Protections
On October 8, 2025 UTIC filed a notice to keep the National Cooperative Research and Production Act of 1993 protections in place. The filing adds 15 parties and notes 3 parties withdrew; the Act's protections limit antitrust plaintiffs to recovering only actual damages in specified circumstances.
UTIC Membership Remains Open
UTIC states that membership in the group research project remains open and that it intends to file additional written notifications disclosing all membership changes. If your company is interested in joining, the consortium will continue to report new members and withdrawals to the Department of Justice and FTC.
