One-year extension of NextGen follow-up survey

The Administration for Children and Families is extending the NextGen Project's second follow-up survey for one year to collect responses through April 2027. The survey targets individuals enrolled in NextGen (people facing complex challenges such as physical or mental health conditions, criminal justice involvement, or limited work experience), will ask about employment, earnings, economic independence, well-being, health status, substance use, and criminal justice involvement, and has an estimated burden of 0.83 hours (about 50 minutes) for each of 200 respondents. Comments on this extension are due April 27, 2026.
